5 Travel-Size Products for PHOTOSHOOTS AND Everyday Life

Pack like a pro. Bring these 5 beauty essentials to your photo shoot. These items are travel-size and affordable.

As a photographer, I constantly strive to solve problems for my clients. One of my worst nightmares (and theirs) is to have a wardrobe malfunction or a bad hair day due to humidity, and my client not feel as unique as they should for their photoshoot.

We can modify details in the "post" after the session. Let's face it. We've all experienced those situations, which is a valuable lesson, especially when it's out of our control. That is why it's imperative to show up prepared like your professional.

1. Goodbye, Frizz & Flyaways! Meet the “Hair Finishing Stick”

This flyaway feel stick is at the top of my list because NO ONE likes a bad hair day. Especially not on “Picture Day,” aka the most epic photo shoot the client and photographer have worked so hard to create.

This non-greasy and the non-sticky flyaway wand is an actual godsend and whoever created this: THANK YOU!!

This product has saved me an incredible amount of time editing simply because removing frizz is an art form and takes a lot of patience in Photoshop.

This item is a must-have for anyone that has hair. A friendly reminder to sanitize your wand after each use before applying it to the next client.

2. No more wardrobe Malfunctions when you have Double-Sided Tape!

Murphy's Law states, "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong"…which includes wardrobe malfunctions.

Be your client's superhero by packing double-sided tape in your camera bag: no more "nip-slips" or dresses riding up the thigh.

The sense of security makes people feel confident because it makes them not fixated on wardrobe malfunctions, and they can focus on their session with you!

3. Bye Bye Shiny Forehead!

The oil blotting paper is an accessible item to store in your camera bag or purse. It's a lifesaver for those who have oily or combination skin. It won't smear your makeup, unlike a tissue or towel.

4. No bad hair days with dry shampoo or hairspray!

I'm biased because I am a massive fan of all R+Co. Products. I swear I've never had as many good hair days until I switched to using their products. All you need is a travel-sized version of this dry shampoo or hairspray to save the day!

5. Get rid of annoying glares and streaks on your glasses or camera lens with these pre-moistened wipes.

This one is pretty self-explanatory. Sometimes when I use a lens cleaner or other tools in my camera bag to clean my lens, it just doesn't seem to get the job done, especially if you're in a dusty location. These are portable, inexpensive, and convenient.
